North Valley Rescue Association

VOLUNTEER TEAM + ASSOCIATION

We're professional volunteers. From K9 handlers to swiftwater rescue teams to EMTs to trackers (and just about everything in between), we train every month to be ready.
We train on high & low angle rope rescue, we train in the jet boats, we train on the snowmobiles and we PRACTICE. We spend a lot of time together because when it comes down to GO time, we have to depend on and trust one another.

Our roughly 40 members are dispatched through 911 and the Flathead County Sheriff.
We serve a large part of Flathead County, from the Whitefish Divide and Glacier National Park, out HWY 2 east to the Glacier County line near Marias Pass, Great Bear Wilderness, Hungry Horse Reservoir and Jewel Basin areas. Our specialized teams also assist other agencies and jurisdictions when needed.

We thank you for your support and honestly - we hope you never need us.
